The Mara is, in fact, the northern part of the Serengeti ecosystem and plays host to the vast herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the months of July to October. Lesser-known species such as topi, hartebeest, waterbuck Eland and many small mammals create a kaleidoscopic picture of wildlife.

Day by day

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Nairobi / Transfer to Hotel

    Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel.

    Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel on Bed & Breakfast Basis.

    Nairobi Serena Hotel is a luxurious five-star hotel located beside Central Park in the heart of Nairobi. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, it combines contemporary comfort with distinctive African heritage and elegant design.

    The hotel offers stylish rooms and suites, diverse dining options, a swimming pool, and the Maisha Spa & Health Club, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and safari travelers.

  2. Day 2

    Nairobi / Samburu National Park

    Breakfast at your hotel, check out and drive to Samburu National Park, arrive in time for lunch and leisure, afternoon game drive until sunset.

    Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp on Full board basis.

    Ashnil Samburu Camp; sits in Buffalo Springs Game Reserve which takes its name from an oasis of crystal-clear water at the western end of the reserve. It is separated from Samburu National Reserve by Ewaso Nyiro River and is less hilly and dense yet very attractive. There are a total number of 30 luxury tents; 18 doubles, 9 with twin beds and 3 with triple beds. Each of the exclusive comfortable deluxe tents provides a perfect view of the Ewaso Nyiro River and the beautiful surrounding landscape. Every spacious tent consists of a dressing area, sitting area, luggage rack and en-suite facilities to provide a memorable stay close to nature.

  3. Day 3

    Samburu National Park

    Breakfast at your camp, spend 01 full day in Samburu National Park, with morning and afternoon game drive.

    All meals and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp on Full board basis.

  4. Day 4

    Samburu National Park / Ol Pejeta Conservancy

    Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

    Breakfast at your camp and drive to Ol Pejeta conservancy, arrive in time for lunch and leisure, afternoon private game drive in the conservancy until sunset.

    Dinner and overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp on Full board basis.

    There are also optional activities at Ol Pejeta conservancy that are available with extra cost Sweetwaters Serena Camp; The Camp is located on the plains of Mount Kenya, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The camp features 39 luxury tents. Each with its own private veranda overlooking the water hole and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. The recently built Morani Wing features 17 specious deluxe double, twin and triple tents. The central Rhino Restaurant offers both regional and international cuisine.

    The property offers a garden, a bar, swimming pool, private waterhole and night viewing bar, conference room, wedding planning, and honeymoon venue, gift shop, business center.

    Ol Pejeta Conservancy / Lake Elementaita

    Breakfast at your camp and check out, drive to Lake Elementaita to arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, afternoon at leisure with game drives in the Conservancy.

    Dinner & Overnight at Lake Elementaita Serena Safari Lodge on Full board basis.

    Lake Elementaita Serena Camp is an elegant five-star tented camp set within the scenic Soysambu Conservancy on the shores of Lake Elmenteita. Surrounded by acacia woodland, volcanic landscapes and abundant birdlife, the camp offers a peaceful and intimate safari experience. Guests can enjoy comfortable luxury tents, lakeside views, swimming, birdwatching, nature walks, game drives, and dining under the African sky.

  6. Day 6

    Lake Elementaita / Masai Mara

    Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

    Breakfast at the camp and check out, depart for the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check inn at the Lodge. Afternoon at Leisure with afternoon private game. Later return to your lodge for dinner & overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge on Full board basis.

  7. Day 7

    Masai Mara

    One full day spent in the Mara Triangle Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Elephant and Buffalo abound in the riverine forests, while out on the grasslands Impala and Thompson's gazelle can be seen together with their attendant predators such as lion, Cheetah, Hyena and Jackal.

    Masai Mara / Nairobi

    Breakfast at your Lodge and check out, with game drive enroute you will drive back to Nairobi and arrive in time for lunch at a restaurant.

    Later, dropped off for overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel on Bed & Breakfast Basis.

  9. Day 9

    Nairobi / Tsavo West National Park

    Breakfast at your hotel and check out, depart for Tsavo West National Park, arrive in time for lunch, afternoon at leisure, private game drive until sunset.

    Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge on Full board basis.

    Tsavo West National Park / Amboseli National Park

    Breakfast at your lodge and check out, depart for Amboseli National Park too arrive in time for lunch and leisure, afternoon game drive until sunset.

    Afternoon game drives to culminate with dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge on Full board basis.

    Amboseli Serena Lodge; Located in Amboseli, 70 m from Amboseli National Park, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel has a shared lounge and a garden. The hotel features family rooms. All units at the hotel are equipped with a seating area. At Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge each room includes a desk and a private bathroom. Guests at the accommodation can enjoy a buffet breakfast. Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge offers a terrace. Elephant Trust Research Camp is 7 km from the hotel. The nearest airport is Amboseli, 2 km from Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.

  12. Day 12

    Amboseli National Park

    Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

    Full day spent in the park with game drives + picnic lunch boxes/hot lunches at the lodge. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It's known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park's plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

  13. Day 13

    Amboseli National Park / Nairobi / Depart

    Breakfast · Lunch

    Breakfast at your Lodge/Camp and drive back to Nairobi and arrive in time for farewell lunch, later drop off at JKIA for your flight back home.

Rates are per person sharing a double or twin room, and fall as the party grows. Single travellers add the single supplement shown. Programmes spanning two seasons are prorated — confirm the exact rate with us at the time of booking.

  • We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability
  • Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you.
  • Passengers should bring only soft sided bags on safaris
  • All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights
  • Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage). Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
  • Passengers arriving in Kenya and Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
