The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the World, due to its size and diversity, the base of the crater consists of several distinct regions, ranging from forests, marshes, lakes and springs to open grasslands and some sand dunes.

Day by day

  1. Day 1

    Arrival Kilimanjaro / Tarangire National Park

    Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport with meet & greet by our representative. After a safari briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park to arrive in time for lunch at the Lodge.

    Afternoon game drive to culminate with dinner and overnight at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge on Full board basis.

    Tarangire Sopa Lodge is a spacious and comfortable safari lodge set within Tarangire National Park, surrounded by ancient baobab trees, rocky kopjes, and open savannah. The lodge offers 75 spacious rooms with private verandas, along with a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and outdoor dining areas. Its location provides excellent opportunities to experience Tarangire's abundant wildlife, particularly its large herds of elephants, while enjoying the comfort and warm hospitality of a classic safari lodge.

  2. Day 2

    Tarangire National Park / Lake Manyara Area / Karatu

    Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

    After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park and immediately commence game drive upon entrance. Later, proceed to Mto wa Mbu village for a guided walk with lunch at the village canteen.

    At sunset, drive to Karatu area for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge on Full board basis.

    Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge is a charming and peaceful lodge nestled in the lush Rothia Valley near Karatu, offering beautiful views of the surrounding highlands. The lodge features spacious luxury rooms with private verandas, en- suite bathrooms, fireplaces, a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and spa. Its convenient location, around 30 minutes from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate, makes it an ideal base for exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and other northern Tanzania safari destinations.

  3. Day 3

    Karatu / Central Serengeti National Park

    Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

    Early morning breakfast.

    Afterwards embark on the drive to Serengeti National Park passing through the Karatu Highlands and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

    Arrive in time for lunch at the Camp.

    Enjoy your first game viewing drive the Serengeti to culminate with dinner and overnight at Baobab Central Serengeti Camp on Full board basis.

    Baobab Central Serengeti Camp is a luxurious and intimate tented camp situated in the heart of the Central Serengeti, overlooking the wildlife-rich plains and the Orangi River. The camp features spacious en-suite safari tents with private verandas, combining modern comfort with an authentic wilderness atmosphere. Guests can enjoy excellent year-round wildlife viewing, delicious meals, relaxing evenings around the campfire, and unforgettable experiences such as game drives, sundowners, and bush lunches.

  4. Day 4

    Central Serengeti National Park / Northern Serengeti National Park

    Breakfast at the Camp.

    Begin your exciting adventure in the Serengeti with a full day of game viewing from the Central part of the park to the Northern with incredible wildlife sightings across endless savannah plains, rocky kopjes, and riverine landscapes. Along the way, guests may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and-- seasonally--the famous Great Migration herds moving toward the Mara River.

    Lunch will be picnic.

    Arrive at your destination in the evening for dinner and overnight at Baobab Luxury Migration Camp on Full board basis.

    Baobab Luxury Migration Camp is an intimate luxury tented camp designed to offer an immersive safari experience in the Serengeti, close to the seasonal movements of the Great Migration. The camp combines elegant, comfortable tented accommodation with an authentic wilderness atmosphere, offering en-suite facilities, private verandas, and relaxing communal areas. Its location provides excellent opportunities for game drives and wildlife viewing, while evenings can be enjoyed around the campfire beneath the spectacular Serengeti skies.

  5. Day 5

    Northern Serengeti National Park

    Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

    Full day of game viewing in the Northern sector of the Park.

    OR Sunrise and sunset game drives returning to the Lodge for lunch.

    In Serengeti you will have the opportunity to sight the big five: the lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino.

    All meals and overnight at Baobab Luxury Migration Camp on Full board basis.

  6. Day 6

    Northern Serengeti National Park / Central Serengeti National Park

    Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

    After breakfast, begin the drive back to Central Serengeti to arrive in time for lunch at the Camp.

    Afternoon game viewing drive in the park.

    Dinner and overnight at Baobab Central Serengeti Camp on Full board basis.

  7. Day 7

    Serengeti National Park / Ngorongoro Crater Tour / Karatu

    Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

    After Breakfast, commence your drive towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

    On arrival, descend to the to the bottom of the Crater for a morning Crater tour.

    Lunch will be picnic.

    After the visit, exit and drive to Karatu area for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge on Full board basis.

  8. Day 8

    Karatu / Depart

    Breakfast

    Leisurely breakfast at the Lodge.

    Afterwards, drive to Arusha to arrive in the afternoon.

    Dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.

Rates are per person sharing a double or twin room, and fall as the party grows. Single travellers add the single supplement shown. Programmes spanning two seasons are prorated — confirm the exact rate with us at the time of booking.

Good to know

  • We may have to reroute the itinerary or accommodate in similar lodges in case of non-availability
  • Prices for domestic flights, airport taxes or park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control and any increase levied will be passed to you.
  • Passengers should bring only soft sided bags on safaris
  • All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights
  • Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15kgs per person (including hand luggage).
  • Any excess baggage will be charged by the airline at check-in.
  • Passengers arriving in Kenya and Tanzania may be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
  • Plastic bags are prohibited in Tanzania
